  Never eat there again!! Ordered a combo to go for $10 tamale, enchilada, rice and beans or should i say bean soup.. The entire meal was the size of a regular burrito that you can get for $3 up the street. The enchilada was 1" x 1/2" thick x 4" long. The tamale that was probably two days old, about 3"w x 3/4" thick x 6" long and 75% cornmeal. Everything seemed to be premade because i only waited 3 min. before it was ready to go. Almost as if they just buy everything at Costco and the "chef" just works a microwave in the back.

  Fast service. Immediately got drink, chips (warm) and salsa (good if spicier than I prefer- but I'm more of a pickled salsa kind of person). Ordered a taco salad which was HUGE and arrived with astounding alacrity-- a huge plus as I was on my lunch break and so had no time to waste. I didn't mention that, so presumably it's an accurate portrayal of their standard service. Staff was friendly and polite.
  
  I have had better taco salads but considering the good price and excellent service I am in no way disappointed. The salad did not skimp on extras- plenty of chicken, guac, sour cream. The tortilla shell was cool, so I assume it wasn't fresh, but otherwise I have no complaints. The salad itself was perfectly tasty and filled me up quite well.
  
  Overall a pleasant dining experience. I will definitely hit up El Rancho next time I'm in Paradise.
